Race U 2 the Couch!

A blog for links to all things greyhound. I am the proud parent of four retired racing greyhounds, and I thought this would be a greyt way to share all the links I've accumulated over the years.

Health Links

Today's links are all greyhound health related!
I'm a registered nurse, and I have two greyhounds with chronic health problems, so I've done a fair amount of research on greyhound health. The following are the best sites I've found:

GreytHealth:
http://www.greythealth.com --This is Suzanne Stack's website. Dr. Stack is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She was the vet for the Wisconsin State Board of Racing, and was a track vet in Texas at Valley Greyhound Park. This site has many items of interest to owners of retired racers.

Merck Vet Manual:
http://merckvetmanual.com --Merck's site for canine health. Very comprehensive and reliable source for medical information; not greyhound specific, but still a very valuable reference.

Canine-Epilepsy:
http://canine-epilepsy.net --A site close to my heart. My seven year old greyhound Vixen has idiopathic epilepsy. This site is a greyt place to start when your hound is first diagnosed with seizure disorder.

Greyhound-Data Library:
http://greyhound-data.com/library.php -- Greyhound-Data's links list for greyhound health info.

Veterinary Partner: http://veterinarypartner.com --Good info on first aid and emergency care.
